For five generations, Thunder Acres has grown crops on the plains of Kansas. We plant, grow, harvest, store, and package our crop. This enables us to have full control over the entire production process. We also sell wheat grass growing kits, hedge apples, alfalfa hay, raw cotton, coco coir, and grow trays. Positive Effects of Using Cotton Unlike polyester fiber cotton does not release plastic fibers back into the environment. Our cotton is rain fed. This means we do not use any irrigation on our cotton fields. We just use the water that falls out of the clouds. How Do I Use Raw Cotton? This raw cotton is great for pet bedding, garden mulch, stuffed animals, pillows, and more. All seeds have been removed, there may be a small amount of plant material left in the cotton.
